Ingredients
- Duck wings - 2 lbs
- Soy Sauce - 10 fl oz
- Honey - 4 tablespoons
- Garlic - 14 cloves
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 1½ ml
- Ginger - 0.2 oz
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- 20% Sour Cream - 8.8 oz
- Dill - 1.1 oz
- Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Rinse the chicken wings and cut them into two parts (wing and drumette).
Step 2
Place the wings in a bowl and pour in the soy sauce (choose a light soy sauce that is not too salty; if you have salty soy sauce, add 150 grams of sauce and the same amount of water).
Step 3
Melt the honey until it is liquid (you can use a microwave).
Step 4
Pour the honey over the wings, add the juice of 1.5 medium lemons, finely chopped cloves (10 pieces) of garlic, and ginger (either ground - 5 grams, or fresh grated ginger root).
Step 5
Mix the wings thoroughly in the marinade, press them down with a weight, and place in the refrigerator for at least 5 hours.
Step 6
Prepare a sour cream sauce for the wings separately. Blend the sour cream, mayonnaise, finely chopped dill, and garlic (4 cloves) in a blender, and refrigerate for 10 minutes.
Step 7
Grill the wings on a barbecue grill until golden brown. The sour cream sauce is served with the wings.
