Ingredients
- Skin-On Chicken Breasts - 2 lbs
- Cashew - 7.1 oz
- Yakiniku sauce - 5 fl oz
- Soy Sauce - 3 fl oz
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 1 fl oz
- Olive Oil - 1 teaspoon
- Ginger - 1.1 oz
- Honey - 1 teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the chicken into small pieces.
Step 2
Peel the ginger and grate it finely.
Step 3
Add the leftover ginger scraps to the chicken, pour in the teriyaki sauce, add the lemon juice and a teaspoon of soy sauce. Marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Step 4
Sauté the grated ginger in olive oil. Add the chicken. Carefully scrape the remaining marinade with a silicone spatula and add it to the pan.
Step 5
Pour in the remaining soy sauce. Fry for about 5–7 minutes, then cover with a lid and reduce the heat to low, keeping it for about 5 minutes.
Step 6
Add the nuts, stir, turn the heat back to high, remove the lid, and wait for the sauce to reduce.
Step 7
Serve with rice.
