Description
Chicken with Mushroom Sauce
Ingredients
- Chicken fillet - 1½ kg
- Onion - 1 head
- Morels - 14.1 oz
- Sour Cream - 7.1 oz
- Safflower Oil - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Dill - 1 bunch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash the chicken, mushrooms, and dill in cold water. Clean and rinse the mushrooms, then cut the meat into strips.
Step 2
Cut the chicken fillet into strips. Sauté the meat.
Step 3
Heat a deep skillet over high heat, add oil. Place the chicken in the skillet and sauté.
Step 4
Sauté each portion of chicken, stirring occasionally (about 5–10 minutes). Transfer the chicken to a pot and season with salt.
Step 5
Chop the onion.
Step 6
Add oil to the skillet and sauté the onion over medium heat until golden, stirring to prevent burning (approximately 10–15 minutes). Cut the mushrooms and add them to the onion. Sauté for 5 minutes.
Step 7
Add the chopped dill to the skillet, season with salt, and mix. Add the sour cream and stir. Simmer for 3 minutes.
Step 8
Next, pour the sauce over the chicken in the pot. Simmer for 15–20 minutes.
Step 9
Serve hot with a side of mashed potatoes or pasta.
