Ingredients
- Fresh Mushrooms - 8.8 oz
- Skin-On Chicken Breasts - 10.6 oz
- Potato - 4 pieces
- Onion - 1 piece
- Wheat Flour - 1 tablespoon
- Milk - 8 fl oz
- Cream 22% - 5.3 oz
- Cheese Spread - 3.5 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Vegetable Oil - 1 tablespoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 356°F.
Step 2
Wash the potatoes, place them in cold water, and boil for 6 minutes after the water starts to boil. Cool and peel them. Rinse the chicken, pat it dry, and cut it into small pieces. Clean and slice the mushrooms, and peel and dice the onion.
Step 3
In a skillet, heat the oil and sauté the chicken pieces until golden brown, then transfer them to a plate. In the same oil, sauté the onion, add the mushrooms, and cook until the liquid evaporates. Sprinkle in the flour, mix well, and while continuously stirring, pour in the milk and cream. Add the chicken, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 4
Spread the sauce in a heatproof dish. Grate the potatoes on a coarse grater on top, sprinkle a little salt, and then add grated cheese. Bake in the middle of the oven for about 30 minutes.
