- Red Canned Beans - 1 can
- Onion - 1 head
- Lean Beef - 14.1 oz
- Tomatoes - 3 pieces
- Orange Bell Peppers - 1 piece
- Mild Chili Spice - 1 piece
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Lime - 1 piece
- Cilantro - to taste
- Taco seasoning mix - 1 tablespoon
- Sour Cream - to taste
- Cocoa Powder - 1 tablespoon
- Chili jam - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Sauté the finely chopped onion, add the ground meat, and cook until done, breaking up any lumps with a spatula.
Step 2
Add garlic and chili pepper (lightly sauté in the center of the pan with the ground meat) and mix well.
Step 3
Add diced tomatoes and bell peppers, beans, lime juice, and Mexican seasoning. Stir and let simmer for 10 minutes.
Step 4
Garnish with cilantro leaves and serve with sour cream.
