Ingredients
- Veal Tenderloin - 4 lbs
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Vegetable Oil - 4 tablespoons
- Onion - 5 pieces
- Garlic - 5 cloves
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 5.3 oz
- Dried Rosemary - 4 tablespoons
- Mild Chili Spice - 3 tablespoons
- Cayenne Pepper - 4 teaspoons
- Paprika - 1 tablespoon
- Barbecue sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Ground Cumin - 1 teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the beef into cubes. Season with salt and pepper. Heat the oil in a pot and sauté the pieces of meat over high heat. Transfer the browned beef to a plate.
Step 2
Sauté the chopped onion and garlic in the pot, then return the browned meat to the pot and add the tomato paste. Cook, stirring frequently and scraping any bits stuck to the bottom with a wooden spatula. Then add the oregano, chili, cayenne pepper, paprika, TABASCO sauce, and cumin. Cook for another minute.
Step 3
Pour in 5 cups of water and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat, cover, and simmer on low for about 2 hours. Season with salt, cook for another 5 minutes until the sauce thickens, and serve. Enjoy your meal!
