Description
This dish contains dietary fiber, vitamins A and B9, as well as approximately half of the recommended daily intake of vitamin C.
Ingredients
- Soy Meat - 5.3 oz
- Dried Chinese mushrooms - 3.5 oz
- Carrot - 5.3 oz
- Chinese green beans - ½ piece
- Orange Bell Peppers - 1 piece
- Soy Sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Cilantro - 2 tablespoons
- White Pepper (whole) - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Soak the mushrooms in room temperature water for 30 minutes. Rinse the soybeans and let them drain. Peel the carrot and cut it into julienne strips. Remove the seeds from the bell pepper and slice it thinly lengthwise.
Step 2
Place the vegetables and mushrooms in a large steamer bowl and steam for 20 minutes. Transfer the cooked vegetables to a salad bowl and mix with finely chopped Chinese cabbage. Serve the vegetables on plates. Before serving, drizzle with soy sauce, season with white pepper, and sprinkle with finely chopped cilantro.
