Description
Chopped meatballs in tomato sauce
Ingredients
- Pork Blood - 17.6 oz
- Onion - 1 piece
- Farm fresh eggs - 2 pieces
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Breadcrumbs - 3.5 oz
- Baking Tomatoes - 6 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the pork into small cubes.
Step 2
Add the eggs, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper (to taste) to the meat, then mix well.
Step 3
Form the meatballs and fry them in a skillet until golden brown, but not fully cooked, as the meatballs may remain raw inside.
Step 4
In a separate deep skillet, sauté the finely chopped onion until fragrant, then add the peeled canned tomatoes and crush them with a fork, mixing well.
Step 5
Add the tomato paste to the tomatoes.
Step 6
Place the meatballs in the skillet with the tomatoes, and if the meatballs are not at least half submerged in the sauce, add a little marinade from the can of tomatoes.
Step 7
Simmer on low heat for about 40 minutes.
