Ingredients
- Mandarins - 3 pieces
- Dates - 10 pieces
- Ginger - 1 piece
- Apple - 1 piece
- Fresh Mint - 5 leaves
- Grapefruits - 1 piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash the mandarins, peel them, separate into segments, and cut each segment into 3 pieces.
Step 2
Wash the dates, cover them with hot water, and let them sit for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Then drain them in a sieve, dry with a paper towel, and slice.
Step 4
Wash the apple, peel it, and remove the core with seeds.
Step 5
Cut the flesh into small slices.
Step 6
Peel the ginger root and grate it on a fine grater.
Step 7
Wash the mint sprigs, dry them, and pluck the leaves.
Step 8
Juice the grapefruit and strain it through cheesecloth.
Step 9
In a small saucepan, bring 100 ml of water to a boil, add the grated ginger, and simmer for 5 minutes.

Pour in the grapefruit juice, add the mint leaves, and simmer on very low heat, covered, for 10 minutes.

Combine the prepared mandarins, dates, and apple in a large salad bowl and gently mix.

Drizzle with the warm sauce, let sit for 30 minutes, and then serve.
