Ingredients
- Salad Potatoes - 20 oz
- Onion - 5 oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Wheat Flour - 3 tablespoons
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Vegetable Oil - 0 fl oz
- Sour Cream - 0 oz
- Activated Baking Soda - a pinch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the necessary ingredients.
Step 2
Add baking soda to the room temperature sour cream.
Step 3
Peel the raw potatoes. Rinse well under running water and dry slightly.
Step 4
Grate the potatoes on a fine grater.
Step 5
Add the prepared sour cream, salt, and pepper to the grated potatoes. Mix everything well.
Step 6
Grate 100 grams of onion on a fine grater and add it to the potato mixture. Mix well with a spoon.
Step 7
To bind the onion and potato mixture, add the raw chicken egg and mix everything until smooth.
Step 8
Add 3 tablespoons of wheat flour to the mixture and mix everything well.
Step 9
Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and place it on the heat.
Step 10
Carefully spoon the batter for draniki onto the frying pan.
Step 11
Fry the draniki over medium heat on both sides until golden brown. After flipping the draniki to the other side, cover the pan with a lid and fry until cooked through. Place the finished draniki on a plate. It is best to serve them warm with sour cream.
