Ingredients
- Potatoes - 17.6 oz
- Wheat Flour - 3.5 oz
- Ground Nutmeg - a pinch
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash, peel, and boil the potatoes until tender. Add salt and nutmeg, and mash the potatoes. Gradually add the flour to this mixture and knead a fairly firm dough.
Step 2
Shape the dough into long rolls with a diameter of 1.5 cm and cut them into small 'barrels' 1–1.5 cm thick.
Step 3
Drop the gnocchi into boiling salted water, and as soon as they float to the surface, they should be served.
