Description

The classic version includes lemon and apple juice, but in this modified version, you can go further and substitute rum for the brandy.

Ingredients

  • Cognac - 1 fl oz
  • Orange bitters - 0 fl oz
  • Absinthe - 0 fl oz
  • Apple Cider Vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Gingerbread-flavored syrup - 0 fl oz
  • Soda water - 1 fl oz
  • Green Apples - ½ pieces
  • Powdered Sugar - 0.4 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Cut half an apple into sticks about half a centimeter thick. Fill a serving glass to the brim with crushed ice.

Step 2

Mix the cognac, liqueur, syrup, and vinegar in a mixing glass without ice. Pour the mixture into a shaker filled with ice, shake well, and strain into a glass, then top with soda.

Step 3

Place a spoon for absinthe on the ice, add the apples on top, sprinkle with powdered sugar, and if desired, drizzle with absinthe and ignite.
