Ingredients
- Cod fillet - 17.6 oz
- Onion - 1 head
- Butter - 2.6 oz
- Potato - 17.6 oz
- Rutabaga - 7.1 oz
- Breadcrumbs - 2 spoons
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Bake the potatoes and turnips in an oven preheated to 392°F. One hour should be sufficient. Once baked, peel the potatoes and turnips and chop them finely.
Step 2
In butter (15–20 g), sauté the finely chopped onion until soft, then mix it with the potatoes and turnips to create a coarse puree.
Step 3
Finely chop the cod and add it to the purée, mixing thoroughly. Then add an egg, mix again, season with salt and pepper, and mix once more. Shape the purée into balls and coat them in breadcrumbs.
Step 4
Grease a baking sheet with the remaining butter, place the fish meatballs on it, and bake in a preheated oven at 392°F for seven minutes. Serve with a green salad.
