Description
Onion can be wonderfully replaced with leeks or shallots.
Ingredients
- Cod fillet - 21.2 oz
- Smoked haddock fillet - 7.1 oz
- Onion - 1 head
- Carrot - 2 pieces
- Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
- Spinach - 1 bunch
- Parmesan Cheese - 3.5 oz
- Potato - 21.2 oz
- Olive Oil - 3 fl oz
- 10% cream - 10 fl oz
- Lemon - 1 piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel and chop the potatoes, then set them to boil. Steam the spinach above the potatoes, and cook the eggs together with the potatoes (well done, Oliver!).
Step 2
In parallel, sauté the carrots sliced into rounds and the onions cut into half-moons, season with salt and pepper, then add cream, grated Parmesan, and lemon juice.
Step 3
Grease a baking dish and place the cod in it, along with pieces of halibut cut into small chunks (you can substitute with any red fish for great results), quartered eggs, and spinach (scatter everything in an artistic mess). Pour in the sautéed vegetables, top with mashed potatoes (do not spread it out evenly; it looks more interesting this way), and drizzle with olive oil.
Step 4
Bake in a preheated oven at 446°F for 25 minutes.
