Cod fillet with a crust of potato chips served with tartar sauce

Ingredients

  • Corn Nacho Chips - 2.5 oz
  • Cod fillet - 6 oz
  • Salt - to taste
  • Mayonnaise - 2.1 oz
  • Shallot - 1 head
  • Pickles - 2.1 oz
  • Meyer Lemon Juice - ½ teaspoon
  • Dijon Mustard - ¼ teaspoon

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 392°F. Pour the chips into a bag and crush them.

Step 2

Line a baking sheet with foil and lightly grease it with vegetable oil. Place the fish on it and season with salt. Spread a thick layer of mayonnaise on top and sprinkle with crushed chips to completely cover the fish.

Step 3

Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes until cooked through.

Step 4

Meanwhile, in a bowl, mix the remaining ¼ cup of mayonnaise, chopped shallot, finely chopped pickles, lemon juice, and mustard. Mix well and serve with the fish.
