Cod with Shiitake Mushrooms and Soy Sauce
Ingredients
- Butter - 0.9 oz
- Cod fillet - 2 pieces
- Scallions - 2 stalks
- Orange Bell Peppers - ¼ piece
- Shimeji mushrooms - 0.9 oz
- Sake - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- White Pepper (whole) - to taste
- Soy Sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Mixed salad greens - to taste
- Rice - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 392°F. Take 2 sheets of foil and lay them on the table. Grease the foil with butter where the fish will be placed.
Step 2
Place the fish on the foil, skin side down, and sprinkle with chopped green onion, green bell pepper, and mushrooms. Top with the remaining butter, drizzle with sake, and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Fold the foil into an envelope and place it on a deep baking tray. Pour hot water into the tray so that it covers half of the fish envelopes. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes until the fish is cooked through. Carefully open the envelopes and drizzle with soy sauce. Serve with salad greens and boiled rice.
