Description
Coho salmon baked with mushrooms in sour cream
Ingredients
- Coho salmon fillet - 17.6 oz
- Fresh Mushrooms - 14.1 oz
- Sour Cream - 12.3 oz
- Onion - 1 piece
- Hard Cheese - 8.8 oz
- Herbs - 1 bunch
- Lemon - 1 piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Boil the mushrooms — champignons, honey mushrooms, chanterelles, oyster mushrooms, or any others you have chosen — and chop them roughly. Then sauté in oil for 10 minutes, add the onion, and simmer until semi-cooked.
Step 2
Rinse the salmon, cut it into portion-sized pieces, drizzle with lemon juice and olive oil, and refrigerate for 40 minutes to marinate.
Step 3
Take a baking dish, place the mushrooms with onions in it, and pour 150 g of sour cream on top. Spread the sour cream evenly and place pieces of butter and the marinated salmon fillet on top.
Step 4
Season with salt, pepper, and spices. Mix the remaining sour cream with chopped herbs, spread it over the fish, and sprinkle with grated cheese on top.
Step 5
Bake the salmon for 30–40 minutes in an oven preheated to 356°F.
