Ingredients
- Potato - 1⅒ kg
- White Cabbage - 14.1 oz
- Scallions - 1.4 oz
- Butter - 4.2 oz
- Milk - 8 fl oz
- 10% cream - 2 fl oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Boil the potatoes until tender, remove them, and cut into four pieces; set aside.
Step 2
Finely shred the cabbage.
Step 3
In a saucepan, melt the butter, add the cabbage, and sauté while stirring for about five minutes. Then, pour in the milk and cream, add the chopped green onion tops, and bring to a boil. Remove from heat, mix with the potatoes, and use a potato masher or blender to turn it into a smooth puree. Season with salt and pepper before serving.
