Ingredients
- Brown Rice - 2 cups
- Water - 3½ cups
- Onion - ½ head
- Butter - 3 tablespoons
- Chicken Broth - 3 cups
- Wild rice - 1 cup
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Pecans - 1 cup
- Dried Cranberries - 4.6 oz
- Seedless Red Grapes - 5.6 oz
- Chopped Cilantro - ½ cup
- Lime Juice - 1 tablespoon

Step 1
First, start cooking the wild rice. To do this, melt the butter in a saucepan and sauté the onion over medium heat for about 3 minutes. Then pour in the broth, add the rice and salt. Reduce the heat to low and cook until the rice is tender, about 45 minutes. All the liquid should be fully absorbed.
Step 2
While the wild rice is cooking, boil the brown rice. Pour 2 cups of rice into water and cook for 25 minutes. The grains should become soft, and the liquid should evaporate.
Step 3
Before serving, mix both types of rice together, add the pecans, cranberries, grapes, and season with cilantro and lime juice. Stir again until the ingredients are evenly distributed.
