- Milk - 1 cup
- Pitted Wild Apricots - 1.8 oz
- Fruit Jelly - 3.5 oz
- Dried Apricots - 1.8 oz
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - a pinch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Rinse the prunes and dried apricots in warm water, then cut them into cubes.
Step 2
Mix 500 ml of water with the milk, bring to a boil, add salt, sugar, and gradually sprinkle in the cornmeal while stirring constantly.
Step 3
Cook, stirring continuously, until the porridge thickens.
Step 4
Transfer the porridge to a clay pot, layering it with the dried fruits and butter, and drizzle with syrup.
Step 5
Cover the pot with a lid and place it in a preheated oven at 80°C (176°F) for 1 hour.
