- Coarse Cornmeal - 14.1 oz
- Rabbit - 17.6 oz
- Turnips - 3 pieces
- Onion - 2 heads
- Fat - 2.5 oz
- Dill - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - ½ teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Parsley - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel, wash, and cut the carrots into strips.
Step 2
Peel, wash, and slice the onion into rings.
Step 3
Wash and chop the dill and parsley.
Step 4
Rinse the rabbit meat, cut it into strips, and fry in melted fat, then add the onion, carrots, salt, and pepper.
Step 5
Fry for 5–7 minutes.
Step 6
Add 500 ml of water.
Step 7
When the water boils, add the cornmeal and cook until the water evaporates, without stirring.
Step 8
Turn off the heat and let the porridge sit covered for 20 minutes.

Serve the porridge in a mound on a plate and sprinkle with chopped parsley and dill.
