- Bay leaf - to taste
- Spices - to taste

Step 1
Rinse the cornmeal, let the water drain, and fry until golden.

Thoroughly rinse the mushrooms, chop them, and fry in oil for 10 minutes.

Peel, wash, and slice the onion into half rings, add to the mushrooms, and fry for 5 minutes.

Wash the tomatoes and chop them into small cubes.
Step 5
Grate the cheese on a fine grater.
Step 6
In a deep skillet, place the cornmeal, fried mushrooms, and onion, add the tomatoes, mix, and pour in hot water, adding salt, bay leaf, and spices.

Bring to a boil, cover with a lid, and place in the oven for 25 minutes.
