Cottage Cheese Rolls with Herbs and Cheese
Ingredients
- Pappardelle Pasta - 14.1 oz
- 9% Cottage Cheese - 14.1 oz
- Parsley - 1 bunch
- Dill - 1 bunch
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Cream Cheese - 5.3 oz
- Cheese - 3.5 oz
- Pine nuts - 1.1 oz
- Olive Oil - 1 fl oz
- 30% Cream - 10 fl oz
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Ground Black Pepper - 1 teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash the herbs and trim the tough stems. Blend everything in a blender.
Step 2
Add the cottage cheese to the herbs and mix everything together until it reaches a creamy consistency.
Step 3
Transfer everything to a bowl and add the egg. Mix well.
Step 4
Next, add the melted cream cheese (you can choose any flavor you like) and season with spices to taste.
Step 5
Toast the pine nuts in a hot skillet (without oil!) for about 2-3 minutes.
Step 6
Add them to the cottage cheese mixture and mix well.
Step 7
Cook the pasta (you can use lasagna sheets, which are easier to roll) until 'al dente'. It's important that the pasta can be rolled without breaking.
Step 8
Take a baking dish and grease it with olive oil.
Step 9
On warm, but not hot! pasta, place our filling and roll it up into a tube – place the finished rolls in the baking dish.
Step 10
Preheat the oven to 392°F.
Step 11
Pour cream over the finished rolls and sprinkle with grated cheese.
Step 12
Bake for 20 minutes.
