Ingredients
- Butter - 2.1 oz
- Onion - 1 head
- Lean Beef - 2 lbs
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 4.9 oz
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Baking Tomatoes - 15 oz
- Pea shoots - 4.1 oz
- Campbell's Beef Broth - 3 tablespoons
- Salad Potatoes - 3 pieces
- Milk - 2 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Heat a small amount of vegetable oil and 15 grams of butter in a skillet. Add the meat and cook until golden brown, stirring with a wooden spoon. Transfer to a bowl.
Step 2
Add another 15 grams of butter and a little vegetable oil to the skillet. Add finely chopped onion and grated carrot, and sauté over medium heat for 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Return the ground beef to the skillet. Add tomato sauce, tomatoes, and broth, mix well, reduce heat, and simmer for 10-15 minutes until all the liquid evaporates. Add peas and simmer for another 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
Step 3
In a pot, place the chopped potatoes, bring to a boil, reduce heat, and cook for 5-10 minutes until soft. Drain, add milk, 30 grams of butter, and salt. Mash until smooth.
Step 4
Preheat the oven to 356°F. Place the meat and vegetables in a baking dish, spread evenly, and top with the mashed potatoes in an even layer. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.
