Description
Recipe taken from a book titled 'Seafood. Very Simple.'
Ingredients
- Gelatin - 1 tablespoon
- Fish Oil - 1½ cups
- Mayonnaise - 1 jar
- Canned Crabs - 1 jar
- Parsley - to taste
- Eel - to taste
- Wheat Flour - 1½ cups
- Butter - 3.5 oz
- Sour Cream - 3.5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare a rich dough. Mix flour, butter, and sour cream.
Step 2
Prepare the jelly: soak the gelatin in cold water, dissolve it in hot broth, boil, and cool.
Step 3
Bake 15 tartlets, remove from molds, and pour fish jelly into the empty molds.
Step 4
When the jelly reaches the consistency of soft-boiled eggs, place pieces of crab, parsley, and cool completely.
Step 5
Before serving, mix the crab with mayonnaise, place it in the tartlet shells, and top with the fish jelly upside down — this will create beautiful dough cups covered with a transparent cap.
Step 6
Keep this appetizer cold and chill well.
Step 7
Serve straight from the refrigerator on a flat plate covered with lettuce leaves.
