Ingredients
- Crab Meat - 9.5 oz
- Salt - ¼ teaspoon
- Butter - 2.1 oz
- Orange Bell Peppers - ½ piece
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 1½ teaspoons
- Worcestershire Sauce - 1½ teaspoons
- Chicken Egg - 1½ pieces
- Breadcrumbs - 0.3 cups
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Tartar Sauce - to taste
- Vegetable Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a bowl, mix the crab meat, salt, and black pepper.
Step 2
In boiling water, hard boil 1 egg. Cool, peel, and cut in half. Finely chop one half and cut the other half into 4 pieces.
Step 3
In a deep skillet, melt 3 tablespoons of butter and sauté the chopped red pepper over low heat until soft. Remove from heat and add lemon juice, 0.5 lightly beaten egg, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well and pour the mixture into the crab meat. Add the finely chopped boiled egg and breadcrumbs. Gently mix the mass and divide it into 4 parts. Shape into flat patties.
Step 4
In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil with the remaining butter over medium heat. Place the patties and fry for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Step 5
Serve garnished with lemon wedges and the remaining egg, with tartar sauce.
