Ingredients
- Grapefruits - 2 pieces
- Sugar - 7.1 oz
- Dried cranberries with sugar - 10.6 oz
- Fresh Mint - 2 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel the zest from 1 grapefruit and cut it into strips. You should have about 120 ml of zest. Squeeze 240 ml of juice from the grapefruits.
Step 2
In a saucepan, pour in 240 ml of water and add 200 g of sugar. Place over medium heat and stir until the sugar dissolves. Add the zest and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 15 minutes, until the zest becomes soft.
Step 3
Then add 240 ml of juice and the cranberries, bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes, until the berries start to burst. Transfer to a bowl and add the chopped mint. Cover and chill.
