- Parsnip - 2 lbs
- Cream - 17 fl oz
- Butter - 1.1 oz
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese - 5.3 oz
- Red Curry Powder - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Breadcrumbs - 3 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Grease a baking dish with butter. Arrange the peeled and sliced parsnip in the dish.
Step 2
In the cream, add half of the grated cheese, crushed garlic cloves, pepper, curry, mix well, and pour the mixture over the parsnip.
Step 3
Cover with foil, place in a preheated oven at 374°F (375 degrees Fahrenheit) and bake for 1 hour. Mix the remaining grated cheese with the breadcrumbs, remove the foil, sprinkle the casserole, and return to the oven for 5-10 minutes until a crispy crust forms on top.
