Creamy Salmon Steak with Spinach
Ingredients
- Salmon - 1 piece
- Dry White Wine - 1 fl oz
- Lime - ½ piece
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Spinach - 0.9 oz
- Rosemary - 1 sprig
- Potato - ½ piece
- Ocean salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Butter - 0.7 oz
- Olive Oil - 1 teaspoon
- Tarragon - 0.4 oz
- Cream 22% - 1 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Finely chop the spinach.
Step 2
Coarsely chop the tomato.
Step 3
Heat butter and olive oil in a pan.
Step 4
Place the steak in the heated oil. Set to high heat. Sear for 2–3 minutes.
Step 5
Add pepper.
Step 6
Flip and sear for another 2–3 minutes. Crush the peeled garlic with a knife and add it to the oil.
Step 7
Turn the garlic and add the sprig of rosemary.
Step 8
Drizzle with lime juice. Reduce heat to medium.
Step 9
Add the wine. Let it evaporate for 2 minutes.
Step 10
Add the tomatoes to the pan, remove the garlic and rosemary.
Step 11
After a minute, pour in the cream.
Step 12
Add salt and the spinach.
Step 13
Cover with a lid and simmer for about 3–5 minutes.
Step 14
Transfer to a plate, add tarragon, and serve.
