Creamy sauce for pasta with mushrooms, cauliflower, pumpkin seeds, and sunflower seeds
Ingredients
- Fresh Mushrooms - 10.6 oz
- 20% Sour Cream - 3 tablespoons
- Cream (40%) - 3 fl oz
- Pitted olives - 3.5 oz
- Mini Cauliflower - 5.3 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Paprika - to taste
- Tagine Spice Mix - 1 tablespoon
- Butter - 1.4 oz
- Onion - ½ head
- Shelled pumpkin seeds - 3 tablespoons
- Sunflower Seeds - 3 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Clean the mushrooms and cut them into small cubes. Do the same with the cauliflower. Cut the olives in half.
Step 2
Finely chop the onion and sauté it in olive oil. When the onion is golden brown, add the mushrooms, salt, and pepper. Sauté for 2–3 minutes over medium heat.
Step 3
Add the cauliflower and olives. Cook for another 2 minutes.
Step 4
In a small pot, melt the butter. Add the sautéed mushrooms and cauliflower to the butter.
Step 5
Reduce the heat and stir in the sour cream and cream. Cook for 2 minutes.
Step 6
Add the paprika, spice mix, and sunflower and pumpkin seeds.
Step 7
Turn off the heat and let it sit for 5 minutes.
