Ingredients
- Spaghetti - 17.6 oz
- Butter - 3 tablespoons
- Shrimp - 17.6 oz
- Dry White Wine - ½ cup
- Red Curry Powder - 2 teaspoons
- Baking Tomatoes - 5 pieces
- Cheese Spread - 0.7 oz
- Cream - 2½ cups
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Parsley - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a large pot, pour in water and a tablespoon of vegetable oil, bring to a boil. Add the pasta to the pot of water and cook for 10-12 minutes. Drain in a colander, rinse with warm water, and drain again.
Step 2
For the sauce, melt the butter in a saucepan, add the shrimp and sauté until they turn pink. Remove the shrimp and set aside. In the pot where the shrimp were cooked, add the wine, chopped tomatoes, spices, cream, and finely chopped cheese. Simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes.
Step 3
Then add the cooked spaghetti and shrimp to the sauce. Heat on low for 1-2 minutes, gently tossing. Serve the spaghetti on a plate, drizzle with sauce, top with shrimp, and garnish with chopped parsley.
