Ingredients

  • Buttermilk - 17 fl oz
  • Garlic - 3 cloves
  • Cumin leaves - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Chicken fillet - 4 lbs
  • Peanut Butter - to taste
  • Wheat Flour - 8.8 oz
  • Paprika - 1 tablespoon
  • Cayenne Pepper - 1½ tablespoons
  • Coarse Salt - 1 tablespoon
  • Lemon - 1 piece
  • Dried onion powder - 2 tablespoons

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Mix buttermilk, garlic, cumin, and 1 teaspoon of salt in a bowl. Cut the chicken fillet into pieces and place them in the marinade. Stir, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 24 hours, stirring occasionally.

Step 2

Heat peanut oil in a skillet to 338°F. Mix flour, paprika, cayenne pepper, coarse salt, and onion powder, and coat the chicken pieces in this mixture.

Step 3

Fry the pieces in the oil for about 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Transfer to paper towels. Serve with lemon wedges.
