Description
In this recipe, you can choose your preferred cooking method: both grilling and a home oven work well. The mentioned salt can be found in specialty shops or markets. Recipe by John Smith, chef at a local culinary center.
Ingredients
- Pork Skewers - 1½ kg
- Garlic - 1.8 oz
- Svan Salt - 1.8 oz
- Barbecue sauce - 5.3 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mince the garlic. Wash the ribs, pat them dry, and rub them with garlic and Svan salt. Cover with a lid and let sit for 1 hour at room temperature.
Step 2
Cook the ribs on the grill or in the oven. If using a grill, move the hot coals away from the center, place the meat on an oiled grate, and grill for 18–20 minutes on each side — it should remain pink in the middle. Then brush the ribs with barbecue sauce and grill for another 10 minutes, turning occasionally.
Step 3
If the ribs are being cooked in the oven, place them in a roasting bag or wrap them in foil, adding a little vegetable oil. Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for 1.5 hours. Then, open the bag or foil, brush the ribs on all sides with barbecue sauce, reduce the temperature to 302°F (300 degrees Fahrenheit), and bake for an additional 10–15 minutes.
Step 4
Transfer the cooked ribs to a plate, cover with a lid, and let them rest for about 10 minutes.
