- Crucian Carp - 1 piece
- Mayonnaise - 3 tablespoons
- Fresh basil leaves - 0.2 oz
- Basil - 0.2 oz
- Canned Jalapeño Peppers - 1 teaspoon
- Lime - 1 piece
- Ground Black Pepper - 0.2 oz
- Onion - 2.5 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Butter - 0.7 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mix finely chopped basil and mayonnaise in a deep bowl.
Step 2
Drizzle with lime juice.
Step 3
Season with black pepper.
Step 4
Add finely chopped jalapeño.
Step 5
Mix thoroughly.
Step 6
Cut the onion into large slices.
Step 7
Make shallow cuts on the sides of the fish.

Pat the crucian carp dry with paper towels, coat it with the prepared sauce inside and out, then secure the bottom sides with toothpicks.

In a heated pan, add butter and olive oil, then place the fish and onion.

Add salt.

After 3–5 minutes, once the fish is browned, flip it over. Stir the onion.

Reduce the heat and cover with a lid.

After 5–7 minutes, the dish is ready. Transfer to a plate and serve.
