Cutlets with Cheese and Basil
Ingredients
- Bun - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 head
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Tomatoes - 5.3 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 2 fl oz
- Fresh basil leaves - 1 bunch
- Adyghe cheese - 5.3 oz
- Lean Beef - 21.2 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic, then sauté in 1 tablespoon of hot vegetable oil. Chop the basil leaves.
Step 2
Mix the ground beef with the egg, soaked and squeezed bun, 2/3 of the basil, onion, and garlic. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 3
Wash and dry the tomatoes, remove the stems, and cut the flesh into small cubes.
Step 4
Cut the cheese into cubes as well.
Step 5
Form cutlets, press the cheese and tomatoes into them, and fry on high heat on both sides, then for another 5 minutes on low heat. Sprinkle with basil.
