Description

You don't need to boil frozen chicken; it's essential to thaw the product before putting it in the pot, and be sure to place the chicken in boiling water. This is what will keep it juicy.

Ingredients

  • Chicken fillet - 2 pieces
  • Celery salt - 1 stalk
  • Onion - 1 head
  • Tomatoes - 1 piece
  • Carrot - 1 piece
  • Allspice berries - to taste
  • Bay leaf - to taste
  • Salt - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Peel and wash the vegetables. Cover them with cold water, add peppercorns and bay leaves, and bring the broth to a boil.

Step 2

Add the chicken to the boiling water. Bring it back to a boil, cover the pot with a lid that has a vent, and simmer the meat on very low heat for 40 minutes. Then turn off the burner and let the chicken sit in the hot broth with the vegetables for another 20 minutes. The bird is ready.

Step 3

The remaining broth won't be clear and picturesque, but it can be used to make vegetable soup, added while cooking sauces for pasta, risotto, or poured in during the braising of vegetables.
