Description
Who said that diet food can't be delicious? Many people believe that all diet food is bland and tasteless. The patties I am introducing have two wonderful qualities: first, they are truly dietary, and second, they are very tasty and filling at the same time. This recipe can serve as a base, and you can vary the flavor of the patties by adding other vegetables, cooked rice, and so on.
Ingredients
- White Cabbage - 5.3 oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Oat flakes - 2 spoons
- Vegetable Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Milk - 2 spoons
- Salt - to taste
- Sour Cream - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Finely shred the fresh cabbage and sauté it for 10 minutes in water, adding only 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. No more oil is used in this recipe.
Step 2
Add 1–2 tablespoons of oats, stir, pour in the milk, and simmer for another 5 minutes. The result will be a thick mixture, similar to a paste.
Step 3
Then remove from heat, let it cool, and whisk in 1 to 2 eggs. Next, transfer the mixture into individual baking molds. These can be muffin tins or tartlet pans.
Step 4
Bake at 392°F for 15–20 minutes. Serve with cold sour cream.
