Ingredients
- Duck Breast - 3 pieces
- Ginger - 1.4 oz
- Garlic - 6 cloves
- Garlic Scapes - 1 stalk
- Mild Chili Spice - 1 piece
- Olive Oil - 5 tablespoons
- Red Wine Vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Soy Sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Dijon Mustard - 2 teaspoons
- Grated Ginger Root - 1 teaspoon
- Red Curry Powder - 2 teaspoons
- Honey - 2 tablespoons
- Toasted Sesame - 1 tablespoon
- Black sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the ingredients.
Step 2
Slice the fillet into pieces 1.5–2 cm thick.
Step 3
Transfer the duck to a dish and mix it in the oil.
Step 4
Add the soy sauce.
Step 5
Then add the red wine vinegar.
Step 6
Add the mustard.
Step 7
Add the ground ginger.
Step 8
Add the curry powder.

Then add the honey.

Press the garlic through a garlic press (2 cloves).

Chop the chili pepper coarsely, removing the seeds.

Press the pepper through the garlic press as well. Then mix and let marinate for 1.5 hours in a cool, dark place.

Peel the ginger.

Crush the ginger with a chef's knife.

Crush the garlic in the same way.

Add the garlic and ginger to the hot oil in the pan.

Fry on all sides until golden brown. Then remove.
