Duck Breast with Shirataki Rice
Ingredients
- Duck Skin - 2 pieces
- Shirataki Rice - 7.1 oz
- Onion - 1 piece
- Marinated cherries - 10 pieces
- Olive Oil - 3 tablespoons
- Soy Sauce - 1 fl oz
- Mustard Greens - 1 tablespoon
- Grated Ginger Root - 1 teaspoon
- Chicken Seasoning - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Toasted Sesame - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a deep bowl, mix the garlic, pressed through a garlic press, olive oil, soy sauce, lemon, mustard, ginger, and poultry seasoning.
Step 2
Generously coat the duck breast on both sides and place it skin-side up in a hot skillet.
Step 3
After 4-5 minutes, flip it over. Sear for another 5 minutes on high heat.
Step 4
Wrap the duck in a roasting bag and place it in the oven for 25 minutes at 356°F.
Step 5
In the sauce left in the skillet, sauté the onion until golden brown. Then transfer it to a bowl.
Step 6
In the same skillet, sauté the cherry tomatoes for 3-4 minutes. Also transfer to the bowl.
Step 7
Place the shirataki rice in the skillet and sauté for 3 minutes on high heat, stirring occasionally.
Step 8
Combine the shirataki with the onion and tomatoes, sprinkle with sesame seeds. Add salt if needed.
Step 9
Before serving, slice the duck into thick slices and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
