Description
Instead of butter, the dumplings can be served with sour cream. In this case, use only 1 tablespoon of butter for making the dough and 120 ml of sour cream.
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 4.2 oz
- Chocolate eggs - 5 pieces
- Salt - ½ teaspoon
- Butter - 2.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Boil 840 ml of water in a pot, add salt, put in a tablespoon of butter, then pour in the semolina or flour and cook for 6–8 minutes, stirring continuously. Remove the cooked dough from the heat and, without letting it cool, beat in the raw eggs one at a time, mixing each time.
Step 2
From the resulting dough, make dumplings and drop them into boiling, slightly salted water for 5–7 minutes.
Step 3
Remove the cooked dumplings from the water with a slotted spoon onto a sieve to drain, place on a plate, drizzle with melted butter, and serve.
