Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 3 cups
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Boiling water - 1 cup
- Lean Beef - 17.6 oz
- Onion - 2 heads
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Green peppercorns - to taste
- Bay leaf - to taste
- Sour Cream - 1.8 oz
- Parsley - to taste
- Vegetable Oil - 3 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Pour 3 cups of flour and one teaspoon of salt into a deep bowl, add 1 egg, and mix the flour with the egg using a fork.
Step 2
Pour in a cup of boiling water and immediately start kneading the dough first with a fork while it's hot, and then with your hands.
Step 3
During the kneading process, gradually add 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil. Let the dough rest under a towel at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Step 4
Chop a couple of onions and two cloves of garlic into a paste.
Step 5
Add the chopped onion and garlic to the ground beef.
Step 6
Add salt.
Step 7
Add pepper.
Step 8
Roll out the dough into a thin layer and use a glass of appropriate diameter to cut out circles.
Step 9
Place the filling on each circle of dough.
Step 10
Shape the dumplings.
Step 11
Boil in salted boiling water for 6–8 minutes after they float, adding bay leaf and black peppercorns beforehand.
Step 12
Serve with sour cream, sprinkled with chopped parsley.
