Ingredients

  • Wheat Flour - 3 cups
  • Boiling water - 7 fl oz
  • Chocolate eggs - 3 pieces
  • Vegetable Oil - 3 tablespoons
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Cottage cheese - 12.3 oz
  • Sugar - 1½ tablespoons
  • Raisins - 2.5 oz
  • Corn Starch - 1½ teaspoons

Prepare all the ingredients.

Sift 3 cups of flour into a bowl, add 0.5 teaspoon of salt, and mix.

Beat the egg with a fork, add it to the flour, and mix.

Pour 200 ml of boiling water into the flour.

Add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil and knead the dough.

Grease your hands with the remaining tablespoon of oil, gather the dough into a ball, and place it in a bag to rest for 30–40 minutes.

Sort the raisins, rinse them, soak in hot water for 10 minutes, drain the water, and dry the raisins.

Separate the remaining 2 eggs into whites and yolks.

Mash the cottage cheese with a fork, add 2 yolks, and mix.

Add salt, sugar, cornstarch, and raisins, and mix.

Roll the dough into a thick sausage, divide it into 4 parts, and cover with a towel to prevent drying out.

Roll each part into a long rope, cut into slices, and lightly dust the slices with flour on both sides.

Roll the slices into flat cakes, place the filling inside, and pinch to seal the dumplings. Cover the sealed dumplings with plastic wrap or a towel to prevent drying out. Optionally, create a decorative edge.

Pour water into a pot, bring to a boil, salt the water, drop the dumplings into the boiling water, stir to prevent sticking, and once the water boils again and all the dumplings float, cook for 4 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon to a bowl, add a piece of butter, and shake to distribute the butter.
