Description
According to one version, this cocktail was enjoyed in the latter half of the 19th century at a London club where employees of the East India Company gathered. However, it is undeniable that its recipe first appeared on paper in 1882 in a book by an American mixologist named Harry. At that time, pineapple syrup was used instead of raspberry syrup.
