Egg Noodles with Shrimp in Creamy Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

  • Egg noodles for wok - 14.1 oz
  • Peeled Cooked Shrimp - 28.2 oz
  • Cream 22% - 8.8 oz
  • Passata Tomato Sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Herbs - 0.7 oz
  • Clarified Butter - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - a pinch

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Pour boiling water over the shrimp and let sit for 5 minutes. Then drain the water and start peeling them.

Step 2

Cook the noodles in salted water and drain using a colander.

Step 3

Pour part of the cream into a pot, place over medium heat, and after a couple of minutes, add the tomato paste and salt. Stir in the herbs. Pour in the remaining cream and mix until the color is uniform. Wait for it to boil, then turn off the heat and cover.

Step 4

Place the pot with the noodles over medium heat. Add the clarified butter, stir well, cover, and turn off after three minutes.

Step 5

Dump all the shrimp onto a heated skillet. Sauté for 3–4 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent burning. Turn off the heat and cover.

Step 6

Stir the sauce before serving.

Step 7

Place a portion of noodles on a plate, top with 2 tablespoons of shrimp, and drizzle with 3 tablespoons of sauce.
