Ingredients

  • Milk - 2 tablespoons
  • Ham - 2.6 oz
  • Chicken Egg - 1 piece
  • Parsley - to taste
  • Salad Potatoes - 14.1 oz
  • Butter - 1.8 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Boil the potatoes in salted water and make a puree, adding milk and half of the butter.

Step 2

Divide the puree equally into 4 portions. Form each portion into a patty, using a spoon to create a 'nest' in each patty. You can also use a fork to outline the edges for a straw effect.

Step 3

Line each nest with ham, and then crack the eggs on top, keeping the yolks intact. Brush the nests with the remaining butter on the outside.

Step 4

Preheat the oven to 356°F. Bake the nests for 10 minutes (until the eggs are done), and garnish with parsley when serving.
