Ingredients
- Oyster Mushrooms - 5.3 oz
- Fettuccine Pasta - 14.1 oz
- Onion - ½ piece
- Skin-On Chicken Breasts - 5.3 oz
- Cream 22% - 3.5 oz
- Soy Sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Mustard Greens - 1 teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the chicken breast into small pieces while heating olive oil in a skillet. Sauté the chicken over high heat for 3–4 minutes. Once the chicken has a light golden hue, remove it from the heat and let it rest.
Step 2
Slice the onion into small feathers and sauté it in the same skillet, adding a bit more olive oil. Reduce the heat to low and cook the onion, stirring, for 7–8 minutes until it becomes translucent.
Step 3
Chop the oyster mushrooms. I usually cut them into small pieces, but you can choose as you like. Add them to the onion and sauté for another 5 minutes over medium heat.
Step 4
The sauce is almost ready—add the soy sauce and mustard, pour half of the cream into the skillet, and while stirring constantly, add the pieces of chicken. Gradually add the remaining cream. Simmer everything together for 2–3 minutes until the chicken is infused with the sauce.
Step 5
Meanwhile, cook and prepare the farfalle pasta according to the instructions on the package.
Step 6
Add the pasta to the sauce, stir, cover with a lid, and let the pasta sit for 10 minutes.
Step 7
Garnish the finished dish with a couple of basil leaves for an extra aroma.
