Description
Fern with Pork in Soy Sauce
Ingredients
- Fern - 35.3 oz
- Pork Blood - 28.2 oz
- Soy Sauce - to taste
- Onion - 1 head
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the fern. To prevent bitterness, soak it in salted water for a day before cooking and leave it at room temperature. There are other methods to remove bitterness as well.
Step 2
Drain the water from the fern and rinse it under running water.
Step 3
Place a pot of water on the stove. Bring it to a boil. Once the water is boiling, add the fern to cook. Cooking time is 7–9 minutes.
Step 4
At the same time, heat a small amount of oil in a skillet, add finely chopped onion, and cover with a lid. Sauté the onion until it becomes translucent.
Step 5
Add the finely chopped pork to the onion and fry until partially cooked. You can add a little salt.
Step 6
Drain the fern in a colander, add it to the pork, and add soy sauce to taste.
Step 7
After 3–5 minutes, you can turn off the heat. While frying the fern with pork, make sure the fern does not turn into a mush.
