- Sole fillets - 17.6 oz
- Mild Chili Spice - 2 pieces
- Orange Bell Peppers - ½ piece
- Cilantro - 2 tablespoons
- Scallions - 3 pieces
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Fish Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Lemongrass - 1 stalk
- Coconut Milk - 4 fl oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Chinese green beans - 4.4 oz
- Vegetable Oil - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the fish fillet into small pieces.
Step 2
In a blender, combine the chopped red pepper, chopped chili peppers, cilantro, chopped green onion, minced garlic, finely chopped soft part of the lemongrass, and fish sauce. Blend until smooth.
Step 3
Add the fish to the fragrant paste and blend again. Then add the coconut milk and egg and mix well.
Step 4
Transfer the mixture to a bowl. Finely chop the green beans. Add the green beans to the mixture and stir. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight (at least 2 hours).
Step 5
Fill half of a deep frying pan with vegetable oil and heat well over medium heat.
Step 6
Form patties with large spoons and fry in the oil until cooked through and golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
