Fig Salad with Prosciutto and Goat Cheese

Ingredients

  • Green Figs - 8 pieces
  • Mixed salad greens - 9.9 oz
  • Prosciutto - 4 slices
  • Peeled chestnuts - 1.2 oz
  • Spanish onions - ½ head
  • Goat cheese - 3.5 oz
  • Olive Oil - ¼ cup
  • White Balsamic Cream - 6 teaspoons
  • Ocean salt - to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper - to taste
  • Dried Rosemary - ½ teaspoon

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced prosciutto and sauté for 4-5 minutes until golden brown and slightly crispy. Remove from heat and let cool.

Step 2

On 4 plates, arrange the salad greens, then add the thinly sliced red onion, sliced figs, and sprinkle with walnuts and pieces of prosciutto.

Step 3

In a small bowl, mix the vinegar, olive oil, salt, pepper, and oregano. Drizzle over the salad and sprinkle with crumbled goat cheese.
