Description
Fish with Tartar Sauce
Ingredients
- White fish - 28.2 oz
- Breadcrumbs - to taste
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Egg white - 4 pieces
- Mustard Greens - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable Oil - 4 fl oz
- Pickles - 5.3 oz
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Parsley - 1 bunch
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the fish (I used pangasius) into portion-sized pieces.
Step 2
Beat the egg with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Coat the fish in the egg. Then coat the fish in breadcrumbs. Fry in vegetable oil on both sides until cooked. I fried for 7–8 minutes on each side.
Step 4
For the sauce, pass the yolks through a sieve. Add the mustard. Mix until smooth. Gradually add the oil while whisking. Whisk until a thick mass is obtained. Then add the juice of one lemon. Mix well. Add garlic, pressed through a garlic press. Then add finely chopped parsley and pickles. Mix. If necessary, add salt.
Step 5
Place the fish on a plate and drizzle with the sauce.
